As often is the case, a much better day just 20 miles to the west
in south Manchester. A mainly cloudy day yes but totally dry and often
bright and with a few brief sunny intervals or sun glimpses in the early
afternoon. Very light wind. Max temperature about 10c or just above,
and thus near the seasonal average.
