At Meir Heath there was sleet yesterday and today. There was a sleet
shower before 10.00 am and one after and then a hail shower. It is
now raining.

Sleet/snow days are only recorded on the day, before or after 10am.
Yesterday would be counted as one sleet/snow falling day.
Unless you had sleet on the 5th & the 6th?
We had sleet on the 6th only.
