0600z: Calm 20km 5CI250 6.8/6.5 QFF 1024.0 falling.
SYNOP: 12970 50000 10068 20065 40240 50007 60002 80001 333 20046 85075=
Shallow fog patches in Ape Dale around dawn. Convective cloud cleared early evening to leave a clear night apart from thin high cloud. Excellent visibility gradually became good overnight. Surface wind NE F2-3 moderated F1 after 1930z, then light and variable or calm after midnight. Minimum temperature so far is 4.6 (0404z).
