Remarks
-------
A cold and rather wet spring with near-average sunshine. These unremarkable
seasonal figures mask the very anomalous nature of the individual months.Very
unusually, the hottest day of spring occurred in March (22.9C on 31st). That
was the hottest March day here since before 1991. The coldest night of spring
occurred only a week later (-5.8C on 7th April). That was the coldest April
night since before 1991. Rather unusual to have an exceptionally hot day and an
exceptionally cold night only a week apart.
