ploughing the beach - it's just sandy dust.
A good gale could whip up some major dust storms with the autumn fields

Oh Lordy! Better not put the washing out that day then - hopefully those
troughs will trigger some showers to damp it down.

This is the best time of year for sunrises on the camera - it's been
offline a couple of times recently; I'm rewiring part of the house and I
sometimes forget to switch the camera on again after I've turned the
power back on.

There have been some excellent displays of contrails caught by the
rising sun. The transatlantic redeye flights are bumper to bumper (well,
the aircraft equivalent anyway) on UL603 around sunrise; on their way
into Amsterdam and Brussels. I can dig some of them out of the harddisk
if anyones interested.
