Default Month-to-date rainfall

Col

I am in the NW of England ( I think ? ) and have only recorded and mere
4.7mm so far this month - I normally average around the 110mm mark, so very
dry indeed and no rain on the cards for at least 5 days.

This link (from the Met Office/Hadley Centre) shows the current month as
it progresses (roughly one 24hr rain-day behindhand) and compares it to
the expected average for the England & Wales series.

Just put the page for NW England into my favourites.

It's amazing the stuff that's buried away on the Met Office site, though
I doubt many general visitors have stumbled across this!
