Depends on your software, Gary. I don't know anything about OE, I'm afraid.

I have a separate unix box which acts as a news server and runs Leafnode
- it's a simple matter to filter on any part of the header, so I don't
even download the bodies of the messages. Still have to process the
headers, though.
