Been up all night watching these... It seemed that the main blob of cloud or
radar echo just didn't want to get its feet wet and cross the channel....
some brave echo's managed it. Why would that be? The sea temp?

I noticed a batch of storms just se of se england
they seem to be heading in a nw direction.
Could hit se england what do you think col ?
Not sure. Looks like the main thrust of the storms could miss
you, but it's early days, this one will have plently of twists
and turns in it yet
Still, the forecast keeps on using words like 'scattered' 'localised'
and 'mainly in the west'.
There were some bright echoes in your area at 6am though, did
you get nothing from them, or was it one of those evaporate before
the rain hits the ground situations I wonder.
