this links to a thumbnail index. The larger images are uncompressed
jpegs to keep pixellation to a minimum, but they are only 500 x 375 so
shouldn't take too long for those, like me, who don't have the luxury of
broadband.....
Excellent. Like you, I had given up hope of seeing anything last
night, but I went out just after midnight. There was a bright
searchlight effect to the west, with the pink directly overhead! Not
as bright as yours, but then I probably have a lot more light
pollution
