New November record - Tafjord, NORWAY - 21.8 C !
Might add that Geiranger (famous tourist spot), as shown on the
competing channel, had 22.4 C. But not with offical gauges
from DNMI (meteorological institute) - they have
no station there.
Geiranger is the fjord south of Tafjord.
The kids at the local school was taking a skinny dip in the fjord
in the nice summer temperature... In the air, that is.

As reported on the national news tonight, in Norway:
Tafjord at 62 deg. north set a new record for November for
any location in Norway.
The new record is 21.8 C!
Sunndalsøra, some 70 km northeast of Tafjord came closest with 21.6 C,
generally many locations had very high temperatures in this ara.
My location, closer to the coast had 19.0 C.
The new record is a whole 3.3 C higher than the last one
for November, at 18.5 C - from November 1984.
