Aurora
It was excellent in Eastern Perthshire.
Not necessarily any brighter than the last lot a few weeks back, but a
lot more red in it. Whilst we were watching it for some time we would
reckon the peak to be at around 19:30. At that time I removed a document
from the car and in a moonless night, and no streetlights about, we
could read it solely by the brightness of the aurora. Trees on the E
horizon were clearly silhouetted against the bright glowing sky.
None of the searchlights or flashing of the last episode, but more
colour.
However, the aurora of similar cause, a couple of years back, was at
least the equal of this one.
