I have just taken a look at Metcheck. That is the site run by Andrew Bond.
This is good as it is updated very regularly. I thought it was very
interesting to note Andrew Bond says that the number of disturbances
running along the front is now in the highly unusual character.
To all those in the rain belt what sort of rainfall totals are you on?
Someone in the Gatwick area has apparently had 68 mm. That is well over
2 inches in the "old money".
I noticed that this front appeared from an easterly quarter and that
gives some credence to an old saying. "Rain from the east 2 days at least".
