Wet and windy this morning! TRy sailing in it!!
Wow - you want to try being out in it - just come back in from
windsurfing - due to the direction , pretty well due South - which is
straight onshore here at Worthing - that then lets you blast up and down /
along the coast with out going out too far - net result I sailed down to
Littlehampton and back a distance of 13 miles - wind was gusting a good
F8 - sea state obviously very rough - wave troughs I was in were some 3+ mts
high - still have two smaller sails I can use when it gets very windy - this
was just a good blow!!
At long last the shipping & inshore forecasts were right!!!!
Now will it blow itself out - now can't go out as nearly high tide and in
winds straight onshore that's impossible with the size of the waves - will
take some photos at high tide and post them will advise....
