Default June the warmest month of the year

In article 1070979411.22858.0@lotis,
Gavin Staples writes:
June 1922 13.8C, and that was the WARMEST month of
the year. That must have been a dreadful summer.

It did follow a very good summer the previous year.

June 1846 at 18.2C. That must have been a nice month. That was warmer than
June 1976 which was 17.0C.

The really hot weather in 1976 only started in mid-June.
