For a couple of hours we had a drizzle of flat hexagonal plate crystals.
They usually fall from a clear sky and reflect the sun very prettily.
I'd like the chance to see them in moonlight too...

....but they'd stopped by morning. The moon hid behind the mountains as
the sun was coming up.

At the start of the week it was rather chilly (-30C) with a ferocious
North wind. We couldn't tell whether this was snow blowing off the
mountain or a banner cloud trying to form, but you can see the shadow of
the peak.

Here's a tourist trap, a bar built entirely out of ice. I'm told
there's an artificially-refrigerated one in London but this was kept
cold by being 2000m up a mountain. Customers would be dressed for it.
It's still naff, but being in Austria it had a warm, clean WC!
