I like these kind shots.


Thanks guys, but we're lucky enough to still have some old-style HSTs
where you can open the vestibule windows - in fact you have to, to open
the doors when you get out.
It was a warm humid evening, the most comfortable way to ride was to
stand in the vestibule leaning on the open window watching the landscape
go by. At Slough we had to slow down for transport police chasing some
fool around on the track but my pocket camera struggled with the light:

Oh, yes. It's "perhaps the most beautiful historical industrial
building still standing in Slough" though I think the station's more
attractive. There are some good views on that lineside but it isn't
easy to take pictures of them.
