Conflict between wireless wx station and wireless network?

The LaCrosse - and most other wireless stations - work at 400MHz, wireless

Which seems to say to mme that there could be interference from Amateur (ham) Radio operations on the 440 MHz band, especially since ham trancievers generally transmit with much more power than is used in wireless devices.
