I need a selective weather radio.
 

I need a weather radio that can still receive the weather service radio
broadcast in a crowded urban area with a lot of radio noise. Does
anyone have a positive experience to share about a model that works well
in the urban jungle.

CARDINAL RULE

don't buy a radio with a weather band
buy a radio with only weather radio on it or a scanner that will scan that
frequency
put up a outside antenna and have the cable run less than 50 feet
buy the best VHF antenna you can afford
by best I mean the most sensitive and has the most RECEIVE GAIN you can
afford
