Default Where to get rainfall data?

I'm simply looking for a site that will provide rainfall totals by month in
a table format for Dallas, TX.

It seems simple enough to me, but I spent 45 minutes looking for this data
to no avail. I couldn't even find the current rainfall total for the
current month.

Anyone have a clue where to find such data for free?

Try http://www.srh.noaa.gov/fwd/CLIMO/dfw/dfwclimo.html
It has current month-to-date and previous months statistics
