Big bad Dean was a hell of a storm but it didn't hit anywhere (with the
exception of brushing Kingston) where anyone lived! I recall reading an
article about Dean and it's effects on Kingston, one man mentioned that it
was horrible, one house was missing a roof!! Hell, that happens when we get
severe thunderstorms here in the US with 70-90MPH winds. In short,
virtually everyone got lucky with this one. Unfortunately, people always
die with storms this powerful, even if they don't hit populated areas but
when compared to Mitch, this was a joke.
