17th December 10:17 and we are starting with a clean slate.
No major earthquakes and no major tropical storms. Low pressure brackets the US and a number of Highs sit over the continent. On the Atlantic chart very high pressure extends into Britain from Scandinavia.and a couple of low systems extend southwards over the North Atlantic Ridge form Greenland. Looks like volcanic activity is going to dominate this spell. The durability of such a set up -or any set up in the circumstances outlined, tends to affirm the correctness of my call. But even if I get it wrong and that could happen, it is early days yet and it would be a significant improvement in what we have otherwise - even of what I was doing previously, if as I suspect, I am calling the shots here as usual. What a singularly hard blow though, to natives of the new continent it will be if I am proven correct. A body would wonder WTFTF were up to. I hope you don't take it too far amiss when, on my success, I enjoin you to eat my **** on "all of the alt. newsgroups" that you posted to. |

Call it 100mb or 35 inches in a column of mercury that could reach 32 inches. What's that? 5/32 of about 15 lbs per square inch. More than that falls on the earth with a heavy shower. More than that; -hundreds of times more, with each tide. But tides come in and out regularly. Quakes are not regular are they? And on top of the tides lie the waves. Imagine the weight travelling across the planet on each swell. Some of them 40 and 50 feet high. (Accompanied by 40 and 50 foot troughs.) I don't like to assert a cause when I plainly don't know exactly what is happening. But I am pretty sure it is not air pressure or tides. But even if I get it wrong and that could happen, it is early days yet |

But then, the Smithsonian is about 2 weeks late in producing what limited information it can get hold of. And there is no one lese doing it unless you know which region's group to look up. But I digress, here's the interesting bit: "In early April of 2001 a strong temperate cyclone spun counter- clockwise over China, pushing a wall of dust as it moved." 1st April 2001. 10:49: No major earthquakes 1 major tropical storm: WALTER Basin: AUS (SE Pacific) Start date: 02.04.2001 Maximum sustained wind: 80 knots End date: 08.04.2001 That's a Cat 1 cyclone on the Saffir Simpson scale. Half an hour from the time of phase which is the main subject of this thread. Another 10 minutes and it was a full blown anticyclone for the UK. There was a quake then though but that was after the full moon thus occurring on the day of .... Oof.. it's 4 am and I need sleep before I try deciphering what time the full moon took place in Jerusalem local time, 2000 years ago. |
