17th December 10:17 and we are starting with a clean slate.
No major earthquakes and no major tropical storms. Low pressure brackets the US and a number of Highs sit over the continent. On the Atlantic chart very high pressure extends into Britain from Scandinavia.and a couple of low systems extend southwards over the North Atlantic Ridge form Greenland. Looks like volcanic activity is going to dominate this spell.
