Average Pressure

Do you mean that you have 4 observations for air pressure [(at hours
00, 07, 13 and 18) besides the min & max] and you want to calculate
the average pressure ?

I am forwarding you to sci.geo.meteorology http://groups.google.com/group/sci.geo.meteorology

just want to ask something about how pressure can make typhoons.. i have been curious about how these low pressure areas will likely create typhoons.. why would a "low" pressure actually form them? please inform us.. :)
