Notice the order of magnitude differences between 40 years and 400 years, and 40,000 years and 400,000 years. Of course, since the bible told them the Earth is only 6000 years old, further extrapolation via nuclear and fossil proxies, engineering and exponential notation, and empirical evidence is unproductive. |
