Hi,
It doesn't really belong to this issue. However, I really like meteorology issue. But usually I am confusing to the following question: Say x changes from 0 to -10. In math, x is decreasing. But if x means error, the error should be increasing but not decreasing. How should I decribe it? (1) the error is decreasing ? (I don't like it, it's misleading.) (2) the error is increasing ? I much appreciate it for your help. CH |

Wouldn't this be the same as a deviation from the mean in which case no
matter if you are positive or negative the absolute value of the integer would the true error. 0 error is perfect anything else become relatively large w.r.t 0? I would say increasing. wrote in message ups.com... Let me recap this equestion: Large negative error means the error is low or high ? |
