The article is nonsense. One person holding a cellphone
is struck by lightning. Nothing suggests the cell attracted
the lightning. Was she carrying groceries home? Perhaps
grocery shopping should be banned.

Quite right. But she can now change channels without the remote and
that put her doctor on to it. That and the fact she erased all his
pornographic X-Ray collection during a visit to his surgery.
