Another good point Paul, or half a good point.
Since when has mainstream AGW science been a
left-wing thing?

At least since Kerry bought Hansen.

Since the left grabbed it as a way to pass laws and us it like they use
Politically correctness.

Al Gore (lefty), Hollywood (lefties), The Green (Lefties), just look at
the odds of it being supported so consistently by Liberals. Use all that
GW scientific methodology that you claim to possess. It's a consensus
among the Left.

In short, it's useful to the left.

Our constitution protects criminals, drunks and U.S. Senators. Which at
times are, one and the same...

The problem with the global warming theory, is that a theory is like a
bowl of ice-cream, it only takes a little dab of bull**** to ruin the
whole thing. - Gump That -

Part of the problem with AGW is presentation.

The media loves headlines, thus the more sensationalist aspects get
publicised, in preference to more realistic but less exciting research.

Thus becoming the first person ever to admit buying one of their
records?

Just as true here in the UK, as in America.

Of course, the right are hardly blameless in using scaremongering for
political ends either. We've suffered freedom-eroding legislation in the
name of 'fighting terrorism' - despite the danger being no worse than in
the 80's when the IRA was the enemy.

Al Gore (lefty), Hollywood (lefties), The Green (Lefties), just look at

Since their pet ideology collapsed with the fall of the Soviet Union,
they had to find something else to jerk off to...
