A Consensus Does Not Exist And Never Has

Always seems to be from The Financial Times and not from any credible scientific source. Many of the signers had no background in any climate science and many had low level degrees in geology or other area unrelated to climatology. It's like asking your car mechanic to give his expert opinion on baking a cake. Anybody who knows anything about this very old "survey" does not take it seriously. Find something from this century. Indeed. How about repeating the survey with vetted participants? Computer and internet use is much more ubiquitous now than 10 years ago. Should be a piece of cake, then we don't need to waste any more bandwidth on this tripe. For all doubters who need an easy fix: check out why the CEO of Exxon left a couple months ago, in large part over conflict regarding allocation of major resources to fund global warming denial studies through the last 15 years. There IS a consensus of the vast majority of scientists, any still in denial can have only financial motivations for doing so. For credible professionals, there is unanimity. -- Message posted via NatScience.com http://www.natscience.com/Uwe/Forums...ology/200805/1 |
