And remember one fact:
A healty person's lung has a constant CO2 value of 6%(!) in opposite to

tidal air of 0.035%.
Falling below 3% makes gas exchange impossible.

So I assume a CO2 percentage of 1-2% in tidal air can be still acceptable
and
is compensable by the body.

Yes, normal exhalation is around 5 or 6 percent CO2, this has been known for
many decades.
There were CO2 monitors in both the lander and the command module. The CM
was shut down so the lander readout was in percent. The actual setpoint I
don't know, maybe 1 percent. There is no danger at that level, but for a
malfunction you don't expect that level. There is danger at levels over 8
percent depending on the activity and health of the people breathing the
air. Above 10 percent, there is degradation of respiration functions, blood
pH, etc. That's the general danger level for human life for prolonged
breathing.

That was not my question.
I wanted to know the trigger value for the alarm.

Probably 1 percent, thats 10000 ppm volume.

Thanks, this is a very good information.

And those AGW retards are whining about 100 ppmv in 100 years, not
taking into account that humans can adapt to this long-term small
change.

Can humans adapt to dying in floods? lol
