Thank you for your well informed reply, and I am confirming to you the
previous indicated of 14th of October next will be the opening of the
Murray Basin to the mighty Southern Seas. Incidentally in addition to
the reported calculation, end of this year the above named Southern
Seas are going to rise an additional 0.25 m due to the accelerated
melting of the Pine Island Glacier (as great on his own as the whole
of the Holy Land of Scotland), which will make it, the Blanchetown

I am afraid the poor country will have to be on all four, before the
