Of course "global warming" is a fact.

Look at this graph of the earth's history over the past 540+ million
years: http://earthintime.com/phar.jpg You'll note that we're
coming out of one of the coldest periods over that time span. You'll
also note that the earth tends to move from cold periods to warm
periods to cold periods to warm periods. There is no question
whatsoever that we're in the midst of a long-term warming trend
(though we don't know how high this warming trend will take us).

You know the interesting thing about the actual temperature data?
It's that the earth warmed up a LOT (look at where we are now compared
to the high points on the graph) all without humans being around. In
other words, the earth warms and cools.......get this......all by
itself. (i.e., without man's involvement)

Amazing, isn't it?

It's a guaranteed LOCK that the earth will get a lot warmer, and even
if humankind instantly vanished from the face of the earth, it would
STILL get a lot warmer, all on its own.

The question, therefore, is NOT whether the earth will warm; rather,
it is what should we be doing to *prepare* for that certainty?
