Light snow here started at around 2110Z, settled on pavements giving a
white over. Not very heavy at all, i think we'll miss out on the heavy
stuff, the band of snow seems to have stayed further...

Vantage Vue or Other?

Thinking of replacing my WS2300 after 7 years service. Wondered if people
could share their experiences/thoughts on the Vantage Vue. Any other
suggestions for stations worth a look...

Now asking for video footage, to show what exactly?
It was 3 times smaller than the Dudley earthquake. People phoning in
worried about aftershocks, well i'm off to bed.

I can verify that Steve,

dropping off work at university in Coventry today and walking around the
city was a chilling experience i can tell you. Became quite misty as well
as i was leaving...

Snow has become heavier and is sticking. Depth about 1 inch and rising.

Sleet and snow here in Dudley. One minute its sleet with rain, the next,
its pure snow. It won't of course stick due to the wet base we have thanks
to the rain this morning. Temp down to 2.4C...

Mistake i think, no snow here in Dudley about 8-10 miles away from B'ham
city centre, about 20 miles from the airport. If not, it must have been
localised.

estimate visibility down to 50m.
