Cold as March 1947.

Here in Farsley near Leeds it's now as cold as March 1947 with a mean
temperature of just 1.8 C. We have to keep that maximum temperature going

Yesterday mornings heavy fall of snow produced 19 cm level snow at the 350
foot level just west of Leeds in Farsley - this was my greatest amount since
early December 2010 when I measured 22 cm....

A measly total of 78 hr for the month! This compares with December 2010
total of 76 hr.
Works out at 2.6 hr /day against 2.5hr/day in December 2010.

This is winter sunshine in summer!
