Thanks Stefano,

but now the question is: how can I know if in the high atmosphere there is
high pressure?

I use to read the 500 hPa chart (www.wetterzentrale.de) to make "analyses"
(between quotes...

Hi,

this week end it appears to occour something wrong.

On friday in Italy (and so for central Europe) there was an high pressure
area (more than 1020 hPa).

There also was another high pressure...
