Bob, your ideas are good on paper, but part of this computer's problems
(long term) lie in the IDE drivers and at least one of the 3 hard drives...

Help needed please

This computer has decided that it is going to die. How much longer it will
last remains to be seen. It is over 7 years old, and has undergone 2 major
upgrades, and I think the last one might have...
