Think these must be the strongest winds in the central lowlands since
the Glasgow hurricane in 1968.

Freezing perspective

Over the last few days I've heard numerous people comment along the
lines of "oh, it's not as cold today". Quite bizarre statements when
the mercury is generally somewhere between -5ºC and -15ºC....
