Had a look at my pond yesterday and noticed 5 dead frogs floating on the
surface. I managed to scoop out a dozen dead frogs today. :-(

Heavy snow for about an hour from 8.30am, now moderate. Haven't been
out yet to measure snow depth or see temp. A guess from looking at the

This time next week when the Atlantic air is fully in, the temps will be

I was thinking about the last time it was this cold and snowy in Dec
1981. The temp in the living struggled up to 63F and at night plummeted
to 46F. In the bedrooms even colder temps down to 40F....
