Normality seems to have returned and my, doesn't it feel good! With the
cold gone, everything has softened and it is fantastic to be able to sit

Tomas at lunchtime news weather introduced a graphic I have not seen before.
Instead of the synoptic chart, he has a Blue Peter style chart with just a
big circle over UK with "cold air" written in...

Light flurry in Stourbridge too, lasted from 12:35 until 12:36 (approx!)
Now 2.3 degrees, after an overnight low of minus 3.0.

Certain areas, eg around Heathrow, Birmingham, etc, are already banned
to certain types of aircraft. I don't know the details for Coventry
but possibly it is NOT one of those with a total ban...
