Obs cold front on first tee.

as can be seen the passage of the cold front in Solihull was rather wet and
brisk.

Tomas at lunchtime news weather introduced a graphic I have not seen before.
Instead of the synoptic chart, he has a Blue Peter style chart with just a
big circle over UK with "cold air" written in...

Belfast weather

Just watched Ulster-v-Quins game, blowing a real gale. The conditions went
down hill in the secondhalf with the temporary stand having to be evacuated
for saftey reasons. The last Ulster conversion...

Certain areas, eg around Heathrow, Birmingham, etc, are already banned
to certain types of aircraft. I don't know the details for Coventry
but possibly it is NOT one of those with a total ban...
