And here in Wales - last Sunday was forecast to be "bitterly cold" by the local BBC forecaster.
She's going to run out of adjectives, unless to paraphrase - 10°C is the new 0°C.

Just read the text forecast for Wales on the Met Office website, it claims to be issued at 16.00 Wednesday 18th November - only problem is that I read it at 14.00.

Well, my remark was a bit tongue in cheek and unfortunately, when we passed over Greenland the cabin was in night mode, and raising the window blinds resulted in loud tutting from other passengers...

Well, I knew that we'd have no snow here in Swansea this winter. This was more or less guaranteed as soon as I fitted winter tyres back at the beginning of December.
So should I swap them back,...
