Heavy continuous snow last few hours, settling at 500ft contour in Alwoodley.
1 inch in garden.
Probably last we will see this year.

A miriad of factors have affected climate change during the last 4 billion years, I have no doubt adding in the human factor in the last few centuries will change the mix slightly.

134000yrs ago hippos were frolicking in lakes throughout the UK during the last interglacial, I wouldn't mind a return to these warm conditions after playing golf in the freezing cold this morning.
