What a disappointment, it's dull and drizzly here too! After the promised
warmth and sunshine, I was looking forward to being able to get down the
beach and have a mess around in the surf, but alas, not today - bah!

Currently at 09:45, 14.3C, RH 93%, DP 13.1C, 1006.8 mb (S), Wind 3.0 mph SE.

We've had unbroken sunshine here in Surrey this morning. However the air
is clearly very humid, as the pavements are still very wet. So with a
fetch off the Channel in Devon to cool the air a little, I'm not
surprised by your conditions

Well hetre in Shrewsbury it's almost completely overcast, and we're a
long way from the sea. I've seen a few breaks which lead me to hope
this might burn off, but still disappointing after all the forecasts.
MO satellite shows a stubborn line of cloud starting over Devon then
extending up the Welsh/English border- not a "fetch from the Channel"
this far north surely?

a balmy 16.2C with a brisk warm S breeze. Not a cloud in the sky and the
washing is trying to dry despite the humidity.

Dry and amazingly warm up here in the mountains of mid Wales in a strong SE
breeze; certainly living up to the forecast. Temperature now (11:22): 17.2C.

And I'm about halfway between Aberystwyth and Solihull and it's cloudy?
:-( Seems very localised in the N-S strip on the sat pics (still there
on the 1000 one in the same place). I hope it shifts before the front
comes near, otherwise it's another big letdown by the forecast.

Unbroken sunshine in Wincanton Somerset, 17.6C and rising, despite it
being quite windy.

Still completely cloudy here in Haytor with occasional light drizzle at 1215.
Temperature a whopping 13.7 deg C. dewpoint 13 deg C.
Everywhere is very damp, the inside of my car was sodden and I had to wipe the
steering wheel with a cloth before driving.

Still no improvement here, it's not damp but still overcast. Why this
stubborn line of cloud which seems to be affecting only a narrow strip?
