Default Very warm day

My wife dropped me off at Kilham and I walked back to Kirkburn via the old
roman road and Garton Balk.

Should have given me a call Trevor. Have been into Driffield, so could quite
easily picked you up and saved your legs!
19.2c by the way.

Today was a pleasant day here. Sunny spells and a maximum of 15.7C
which is by no means exceptional for late October.

Monthly maximum is only 16.3C which is low for October but not as bad
as last year when the best at Dyce was just 14.9C. Every October from
1994 to 2003 exceeded 17C.

To get very high temperatures here a south westerly wind would be more
desirable. 2 years ago today the maximum at Dyce was 18.3C with S.W.
wind.

Richard Slessor,
Aberdeen.
