BBC Breakfast TV at 06:45 this morning.

Loiuse Lear gave us all a potted history of Coventry cathedral before
deciding that she had an awful lot to tell us (about the weather,
presumably).
Then she told us all about the "incredibly" strong winds in Scotland, the
"incredibly" wet weather in the same area, and it being "incredibly" mild in
the south east.
Incredibly stupid woman.
Incredibly stupid BBC.

Incredible.

Excuse me but why would people want to talk about bloomin Coventry Cathedral in
a weather slot ?

I must watch these weather forecasts sometime myself to see what the fuss is
about?

Will.

Isn't it obvious?
Quite clearly weather presenters are allotted *far* to much time in
their slots to talk about the weather, so they have to fill in the time
talking about other stuff instead.

Perhaps she was overwhelmed by the rapidly approaching 11th hour of the
11th day of the 11th month.

I didn't see the report but it seems a fair guess.

At the moment, she might be pleased to know that the weather here is
'incredibly' nice. No doubt that will change quite soon.

What's all that about Gianna? You're not practising Pagan Rituals up there
in Peterhead -are you?
Ooch now forget your fertility rituals and put your clothes back on
lasse, or you'll be catching your death. Hold on while I phone Dr Finlay and
get you sectioned again,. Why with the right treatment you'll be bonny again
just in time for Hogmanny.

I also noted that she said that winds would be damaging in urban areas in
Scotland so take care if you're outside. I thought the normal policy in
these sort of situations would be a "stay indoors"!

I believe one of your leaders said "at the eleventh hour of the eleventh
day of the eleventh month, we shall remember them" (referring to
deceased soldiers).
I am not sure of the details but it is your remembrance day so thought
you would know (-:

Meanwhile, it's getting windy out (-:
