I needn't worry then.

Does anyone know how Scotland is carved up for these warnings?

I think you'll find the answer on the met office homepage Alan:
http://www.met-office.gov.uk/
And apparently we're both in the South west, so severe weather is more
likely than not (60%)
All the best when it comes
Alex.

Yes indeed, I don't know why they bother.
After all the precious South East isn't involved.

But on closer inspection;

I lie on the 45% line.
We'll see :-)

You need the link to the Met Office page really, as it includes a
probability map and isn't all in upper case.
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/.../warnings.html

I can rarely be bothered to plough my way through long teleprinter
style messages. At least the Met Office published it in normal
sentence case - albeit with *abysmal* hard-to-read style - a 21 line
paragraph. Why oh why do they do this?

Thanks, Alex, and you, but I'll be really surprised if much happens.

The map and the text quoted previously seem to have completely different
figures?
