![]() Hi all... I'm in Folkestone, Kent. Just found out Son has been struck by lightning whilst sledging in S.Wales. He's ok, awake, a little deaf and a few minor burns. He's been airlifted to Swansea. Was going to belt down there but staff at Swansea Hospital talked me out of it. Will be leaving at first light. Anyone know conditions on the major routes? Is it mainly Devon or has S.Wales been really clobbered too? I've been on the road all day sans radio and could do with catching up a bit. BBC news site appears to be down at the mo...
