I think we all now accept the we live in a "Blame Culture". But who started
it, who's at fault, who are the culprits, who should take final
responsibility for this attitude?

I was talking of the presence of snow ... as you have already seen. It
is still snowing a little but the ground is mostly covered in slush
(temperature is above freezing).

I expect that between now and the end of February there will be lots
more snow ... I think being cut off from the outside world is compulsory
at least once per winter.

I do make a nice pizza btw, especially when I leave the dough overnight
before baking it (-:

So a cold enviroment (tenuously on topic) can influence your dough mix?

I can see it now on the BBC weather forecast.

Now over to Louise Lear (no doubt in a pastry hat)

" Yes I've just had a weather warning update, hold on to yer dumplings as
this cold front passes"

Back to blame culture. You started this Gianna.

Yes I remember a chef's advice once "keep your pastry/dough in the fridge
before using"

Pastry, yes. Dough, definitely not ... must be kept warm otherwise the
yeast will not do its party piece.

Nope.
It does make me cook things like poached eggs on parmigiano crumpets for
lunch though.

Tempting, but I shall resist (-;

Yeah, that's the ticket. Blame greenie policies for bankruptingCalifornia. More proof that the AGW Deniers are pathologicalpsychopaths and liars who are out of touch with reality. They may aswell blame the fact that a white Austrian right win jim sci.geo.meteorology (Meteorology) 1 July 15th 09 01:59 PM
