Another "advanced" warning, I see. See earlier thread. The Met Office
obviously missed it.

As was mentioned in that thread, the original template is in error,
probably an IT technician who made a "typo" :-p
Changing it may corrupt it and render the system useless as warnings may
not get published, it will be sorted apparently, but in due course.

Jon

Not missed by me, but there were so many contributions to that earlier
thread that I was surprised that the Met O did not seem to be noticing.

I am pleased with Joe's reply however.

We IT technicians do not make mistakes, he/she was probably distracted
by a very string gust of wind, a bad thunderstorm, the sun on his/her
screen, and many other various distractions! :-p

It was probably caused by the shortage of donuts or no coffee in the
kitchen!

Or perhaps they were distracted by the importance of getting severe
weather warnings out?

British programmers have to make their own coffee and buy their own DOUGHNUTS.

You have been watching too many 'merkin TV programs! :))

I work in a Computing Laboratory. We have a rota for bringing in
doughnuts (or more accurately, cakes) and, although there is coffee and
tea in the kitchen, we still have to go there and make it ourselves.
