Default Not to be taken entirely seriously,

but the BBC 5-day forecast http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml for
Godalming, United Kingdom shows Friday's weather as a maximum
temperature of 27, with 'sleet shower'. I lack the will to mention this
to the BBC.

Meanwhile, today's forecast of 'light rain' seems not to do justice to
the continuous rain which has steadily strengthened from a light drizzle
in the morning to a persistent dour downpour.

Not stair-rods, not torrential, not spectacular, just the rate which
makes one reluctant to go out in it. Thesis for someone in perceptions
of weather varying with contrast from immediately previous weather.

I wonder if there is a degree of artificial intelligence involved in
the BBC's models? It can't all be down to that ******* accountant
brained idiot can it?
