Today's one of those rare days that brings back memories of cold winters
past. The temperature's 2.4C at the moment, with a high so far of 3.3C and a
gentle NE'ly breeze adding to the wintry feel.

More unusually there's been a recent shower of light snow / sleety stuff,
tiny flakes in the main and I remember from my youth that this stuff,
whatever it is, rarely if ever settles. It doesn't show up on the radar
either, presumably because it's coming from shallow clouds...
