Moderately bright and well-coloured solar halo now (1235z)
visible here (south Beds). It looks quite small but that is probably an optical illusion due to the sun being so high in the sky, while most halos are observed when the sun is lower down, so I'm pretty sure it's the normal 22deg halo - in fact I don't think anything smaller is recognised. Philip |
